There are several more but beyond the year 2000 or so, I don't remember the specific models.

Challenge accepted, lets see how I do:

ATI 7970 3GB
XFX GeoForce GTS 250
Something on a Dell Laptop, ATI Mobility...
XFX GeoForce 6800XT AGP
ATI Radeon 9800PRO
ATI All in Wonder 128
Matrox Millenium G200
the 3dfx add on card
Some S3 thing
Some Trident thing
Something that was in a 386 that I can't remember at all at the moment.

Okay, here we go:

- ATI Rage 128 Pro
- Nvidia Geforce 2MX
- ATI Radeon 8500
- ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
- ATI Radeon 2600XT Mobility (iMac)
- Nvidia Geforce 9400M (MBP)
- Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT (MBP)
- ATI Radeon HD 5770
- ATI Radeon HD 5870
- AMD Radeon HD 6870
- AMD Radeon HD 7770
- AMD Radeon HD 7790
- AMD Radeon R9 280

So, mostly Team Red since most Radeons were better value for money in the 'mid to high' performance range. Never cared about ultimate performance, need neither 200fps+ nor $k atm.

ATI RAGE II and 3Dfx Voodoo1 on a PowerCenter Pro (played a good game of Myth, Unreal and Quake 1)
TNT2 Ultra on a Dell Pentium III PC (32-bit color, wow!)
GeForce 3 on a Quicksilver Power Mac (we got this card before PC gamers)
GeForce 6600 LE on a Power Mac G5 (Ehh. Not great, but it worked)

Mac Pro 5,1 cards:
AMD Radeon 5870 (decent card but crap drivers)
GeForce 780 (pretty good but had a bug at bootup)
GeForce Titan X (awesome!)

Riva TNT 2 64 MB

Geforce 6600GT 128MB/128 Bit
Geforce 8800GT 512 MB/256 Bit

That's how to spot an enthusiast

It is kind of sad to see all of that rich competition go away. Not counting Intel, there are only two companies left, and one of those isn't doing too well financially.

Wow, there are some serious video card enthusiasts here! I can name half a dozen Radius and SuperMac NuBus cards; once Macs started shipping with adequate (for my purposes) onboard VRAM / stock PCI cards I stopped paying atention.

first decent one (not counting CGA/VGA) was a riva tnt ultra... then a bunch of others, all nvidia or integrated none of that ATI/AMD crap thank you.

I don´t understand this part "none of that ATI/AMD crap thank you".

If ATI-AMD cards were / are CRAP in all aspects, nobody would buy them and that will be the end. Obviously this is not true because this company is still alive and well. ATI is making graphics cards since 1986 and they still do just with different name (AMD). Of course there were some bad products and decisions but to call all their products crap is not fair.
nVidia and Intel had their bad moments......some very bad.
To name a few: GeForce MX4000, Riva TNT M64, Intel GMA950....I mean these are crap squared.

sorry, guilty as charged :)

grew a deep hatred of ATI because back then I was mostly a linux user so...

Yep, I'm another one that goes back to ISA and later Vesa Local Bus cards. Then again, I remember when co-processors were add ons. I think I still have in an old storage box a Timex Sinclair z-80 chip based system that hooked up to a television. That was a fun little "toy."

CPUs I had:

386 SX 25mhz
486 DX 66mhz

[.. insert about 10 cards in here]
nvidia 8800 GT
AMD Radeon HD 7870

I can't remember all the cards... although I just sold the 7870 on eBay a few weeks ago. Had enough of desktop computing :)

Haha ... yeah I remember having most all of those over the years.

My FIRST home computer was in 1974 ... self designed, laboriously point-to-point hand wired, and used the newfangled Intel 8080 microprocessor I purchased for $600 (just dropped from $1200 ea.)!!!

It didn't do much ....

... although the knowledge gained did a lot to launch my engineering career speciality!

oh well. at the time:

nvidia - closed source drivers with some opensource 'glue' to the kernel, worked really well (for linux haha), FOSS dudes of course hated the idea :)

ati - second-class open source drivers that performed like crap, ati could not care lessa about linux.

being a pragmatist, nvidia all the way baby!

I tried Linux twice years ago just 'to see it'. Nvidia drivers included worked.

Radeon drivers have always aggravated me on Windows and I used Omega instead.

PC:
ATI Radeon 9600 TX (PC 2003, AGP)
ATI Radeon X800 XL
Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX 512 (Core2Duo-PC 2.4GHz 2006, first PCI Express card)
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 640 MB
Nvidia GeForce 560 Ti (still in use for old WinXP Apps and Games)

Mac (Tower):
ATI Rage 128 GL (PowerMac G3 Blue and White 1999)
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro Mac Edition
NVIDIA Geforce2 MX (Power Mac G4 Quicksilver 2001)
Nvidia Geforce4 Ti
Apple ATI Radeon 4870 (Mac Pro 2009)
Apple ATI Radeon 5870
Nvidia GeForce GTX 570
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770
Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X (still Mac Pro 2009...)

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti (eGPU)

Wow. Gonna date myself here.. Far from inclusive list, but some of the more interesting vintage stuff:

8 bit Grayscale Yoke adapter for Mac SE. Enabled 2nd 8 bit 6 gray 40x480 out. Can't remember who made it. Literally attached to the fly back transformer board on the internal CRT.

Rasterops 264 Colorboard (First 24 bit Mac card whopping 640x480 res).
Radius 2 Page Display (grayscale with attached 19" monitor)
NuVista Truevision+ with Diaquest Animac card for frame animation layback to Sony Betacam
Radius SpigotProAV for the 8100/80AV (horrible daughter card product for NTSC encode / decode, never did work well at all, it's release was barely alpha quality and it mostly was a remarkably effective crash generator).
Radius Rocket / 16mb ram (ok not a video card per se, but an interesting bit in its own right, wouldn't work in a IIx or IIfx with the TureVision, so had to get a IIci to get both cards to work together).

Dated myself enough yet?

OK, just to add some of the less common boards:
  • V12 in SGI Octane
  • CRM in SGI O2
  • SUN XVR-1200 (a.k.a. 3Dlabs Wildcat4)
I liked the CRM a lot because it had a shared memory system that allowed access to gigantic amounts of VRAM ... even streaming video to a memory region and making this a texture was possible. Yeah, good old times.
