I ordered mine on 2/14 and it is in transit. Ready to ship yesterday, but missed the fedex cutoff point, so it went out today.

Estimated deliver date is Monday, 02/26. I am slightly disappointed that 2nd day air really did not get me anything.

Fedex can not change the shipment to allow Saturday delivery without Apple auth, Apple can not change per their corporate policy.

Meanwhile, both apple stores in my area have them in stock and did not check before I ordered online.

Update 02/22/08
On truck for delivery.

S-video/composite is an additional optional item. Only VGA and DVI are included.

Shipping times?

I ordered the 1.8/80 mba the evening of 2/20 after seeing it in person at the apple store. I received my ethernet dongle on 2/22, but the computer still hasn't shipped. It said 7-10 days ship time when I ordered, but now the site says 5-7 days. The estimated ship time is February 29th-March 5th with an estimated delivery of March 5th-11th... I just doubt the accuracy of these estimates. It's finally tying up the available credit on my credit card today... does this mean it should ship soon?

Anybody else order around the same time? What do you have for shipping?

My Amazon order (1.8 HD) still says shipping April 15 :eek:

VNC is Virtual Network Computing: displaying another computer's screen (like the way that X-Box is displaying the Air's screen) across a network. Leopard's Screen Sharing is an example.

(WiFi is wireless networking.)

Well I ordered the 1.6/80/spanish keyboard (custom) on 2/18, i called today to check the status and the lady on the phone told me "is ready to ship, you can check the status online" (i know!! i do that everyday :) ), i did it again and still "estimated ship time is February 28th-March 4th" but now i just received the tracking number on my inbox :D

I ordered the 1.8/80 mba on the evening of 2/21 through my school, and they're not giving me any tracking info which is killing me. So if you got your then I theoretically get mine the next day. BTW where do they ship from?

My tracking info says:
Feb. 28 at 6:42 pm: Package picked up (after FedEx cut-off)
at 6:47 pm: Left Origin; Shanghai, China
Feb. 29 at 2:37 pm: In transit; Shanghai, China

The FedEx estimated delivery is March 4, 2008 by 12:00 pm.
The Apple Shipment Notification e-mail said by March 3rd.

I'm hoping for March 3rd!

*Edit on 3/3: I'm typing this on my new MacBook Air! It arrived this morning :) No problems so far... *knock on wood*

Ordered from Apple Korea

Placed my order for my MB Air Yesterday (March 18th) from the Korea store, they are giving me a ship date of between March 27th and 31st..
