Hmm I had an iPad 1 64GB 3G that I bought with IOS 3.x on it, at the time I purchased it I could use the camera connection kit to read my USB memory sticks. Apple decided that they didn't want that, and took that ability away from my iPad 1.

Also add:

- anti-aliasing while running iPhone apps in 2x mode
- lyrics in Music

both taken away in iOS 5. The first (anti-aliasing) as a "bug" (pathetic explanation by Apple...), clearly to make people switch to the iPad 3 (also) because of the now-ugly, pixelizated (because it's not anti-aliased any more, unlike in the pre-iOS 5 days) iPhone apps.

Can someone take (steal) something that does NOT exist? And if someone can take something that does not exist what of developers that take (steal) money for apps, that are worthless? Or that generate cash transfers that are unauthorized?

Apple decided that they didn't want that, and took that ability away from my iPad 1. I bought that iPad, do I actually "own" it? Or does - Apple still own it? at the time I purchased my iPad I was told that I could buy "Unlimited Data" from AT&T, and pay for it on a month by month bases....

Clearly "UNLIMITED" doesn't have a common understanding, when AT&T and Apple "LIMIT" the size of programs I can download from the App Store.

I purchased a season pass to a TV series, with the claim that each new epsoide would be downloaded by iTunes. For me this never happened, and each week I'd have to call iTunes store and try to get them to release a two week old show to my iTunes account, so that I could have it.

doesn't exist? just because something is intangible doesnt mean it is non existent. if that was the case my own conscious wouldn't exist.

fake apps are refundable through apple, as well as unauthorized purchases.
"unlimited" internet was misleading by the advertisements, (if you didnt notice the *) but it was in the contract.. so its not stealing or unlawful.

i believe apple fixed the camera connection issue on the pad 1. have you upgraded yours?

that sucks you have to call apple and do that every time your episode comes out. maybe thats a one off on your show? because i have purchased many seasons and never have that problem.

as to the app download size, that sucks i know.
and the guy about lyrics and 2x mode.

ill add facetime over 3g into the complaint list.

luckily you can jailbreak your device and solve all those problems.
its lame we have to. and its lame that apple designs their hardware to only run their software, which only allows us to run what they want...but thats nothing we didnt know when we bought the device

I specialize in IP law, and neither of two have the slightest understand intellectual property. In fact, under criminal law, you fail to grasp the requisite elemental analysis to determine culpability. Plain language definitions are not appropriate in law. Terms of art dictate the nomenclature. Drop it unless you wish to continue making yourself *sound* dumber.

It really sucks to read through garbage to get the information I searched for....

Backup: the ability to roll back to a previous state.....

It seems to me that none of the Cydia Backup programs actually allow one to do this? Most simply keep a list of programs/apps installed and sources for those programs/apps....

I'm an iFile user and more than once I've been locked out of all the features of iFile because of a bug in the current version, if there was a real backup program I should be able to roll back to a previous version an continue. I don't believe any Cydia program offers this simple feature?

It seems to me a real backup program should allow me to fully restore my iDevice with nothing more than access to my computer, without need to establish and Internet connection!

Can we get back to posting the best cydia tweaks for the ipad
