I was expecting on launch day when I got mine that I would have a slew of apps that were ready to update to adjust to the new iPad, like how apps are for the new iPhones, but so far I have only had 5 apps update and none were updates specifically for adjusting for the new iPad Pro.

Likely because developers had no idea about the changes until two weeks ago when the announcement was made, and likely because iPad apps aren't a priority. I have probably 300 apps, about 20 have been updated so far.

The MS office suite (Word, Excel, One Note) have not been updated yet.

Status bar still persists on 12.9”
Yep, same on 11”. It seems that they half updated - they went to auto width but didn’t update for Liquid Retina.
[doublepost=1542050731][/doublepost]Also, Affinity Designer and Lightroom are not updated.

The game Pubg (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) is basically unplayable until they release an update (all the controls are smushed together).

I have several apps that do not ask for FaceID yet, only touch ID so I assume that is going to be in the future updates. My banking app asking for FaceID on the phone but not my new iPad.

Some as have been said are either non-liquid retina compatible or they don't use the full screen width...

Did you enable touchID in the settings for your banking app? This allowed it to use faceid instead, without an update.

The only option it gives me at the moment is Touch ID. I will look again but know the difference since I use it with my phone already.

Face ID is on in settings but in the app it only offers TouchID. After turning it off and on again it still says Touch on the login screen but does work with FaceID so I guess at this point its a cosmetic thing.
