Wow. I forgot I had some of those until I saw the lists.

2 Newtons
Casio of some type
First Palm
2 Compaq iPaq's
Samsung i730 - liked but heavy and battery was going

HP Travelers Companion. Love this because it is GPS with full Windows Mobile os. Bought it for my upcoming Europe trip. May not have if I knew iPhone would have google maps but it WILL keep us from getting lost on the streets of London and Amsterdam. My partner will use this in the car after the trip.

iPhone (if the Apple store ever catches up)

No real PDAs..

Nokia 7650
Nokia 6600
Sony Ericcson P900
Nokia 6680
Nokia N70

IIRC, all of which had mail & web functionaltiy. None of which I used much as the screens are too small, the UI too slow, or in the case of the P900, the stylus and tiny buttons too finicky.

It ceases to amaze me why some of you folks would want to "chop" Apples phone and turn it into some frequently crashing, hacked up excuse for a handheld.

you dont seem to realize that hacked roms run faster and MORE stable than official releases.

im running a hacked WM6 rom on my tytn and i STILL have not had it even freeze up yet. the crappy latest official dopod rom was freezing every 2-4 days.

this is the same with my install of Beast XP for my desktop, ive ran all flavors of XP but Beast XP is by far the most stable, smallest, fastest xp ive ever ran. again, still has not crashed, bluescreened, done anything weird in 6mo.

also TONS of goodies/utilities are included with hacked roms. i even have a task manager and reg editor with the black majik wm6 rom.

It's a damn addiction:

Palm III, Vi
Garmin iQue 3600
Casio Cassiopeia Fiva (tablet)
Compaq iPaq 3650
Various prototypes
Treo 600
Sony Clie TJ25, TJ37, TH55
Sharp Zaurus SL5500D
Nokia 770
Samsung A900M
Sony Librie
iPhone

:rolleyes:I went from the the 8125 to the 8525 and am very happy. I totally age that the iPhone has an awesome interface but major lack of basic professional needs. I hope gen. 2 has these features but i can not see that will have HSDPA (high speed data) with the battery soldered inside the phone. I would not mind another manufacture to use a screen as nice as the iPhone but run windows mobile or whatever. Just want word, excel, good mail, good browser, and HSDPA. Is that to much to ask for?

no, you just described every newer symbian/WM phone out there. if you dont like the interface get a new one, if you dont like the OS, flash it with an OS you cooked with your own preferences. dont like PIE or the built in one? download another browser and install it. there is litterally 10-20 diffrent WM browsers avalible, MS and Opera has TWO each!!!

Palm III
Palm IIIe
Palm M500 [?]
Palm Tungsten [exapnding face one, is that the T3?]
eMate 300
Palm Treo 650 Verizon - contract is up February '08

Guess what I'll be getting next?;)
