Just throwing a "me too" out there. iPod Touch works fine in my house, but the new iPad can't pick up the current location. I turned Location Services off & on, then rebooted, and tried again. No luck.

Combined with the performance problems some are experiencing, makes me really worry what other wi-fi problems this unit is going to run into...

(BTW, is there an easy way to determine your wi-fi performance?)

Just updating as well.....on April 3rd I submitted both my wireless APs to Skyhook. Starting on April 19th, my iPad was locating me exactly at my house.

What was weird was, no matter what I did on the iPod Touch, it would still locate me in it's old position.....slightly off from my current location.

Well, it didn't last long. Not sure why by as of Saturday the 24th.....I'm back to not being able to locate via the iPad unless it sees neighbors WiFi APs. I have resubmitted to Skyhook, so we'll see if it updates again....not sure why it worked for a week and then nothing.

Still have no idea why the Touch has always worked....even though it pinpoints me in the woods :D (not exactly at my house or the neighbors houses that the iPad sees).

When the iPad did seemingly see my location for that week.....it was right on my house, so I can only guess it was because of my SkyHook submission.

If you are in Google Maps.....click on the current location icon (the circle with the crosshairs). Once it has located you, click the icon again to turn on the compass.
