iPhone LockInfo 5 just released in Cydia!!!!!

I noticed that the weather widget updates on the lockscreen now, which is quite a big bugfix. Searches for RSS feeds for the RSS plugin are also working properly now.

Still not working. The weather updates upon restoring one time, and then fails to update every other time after that.

After using SBSettings to turn off all my MS addons except LockInfo and turning them back on one by one it seems a tweak I used called SiriLaunch was the culprit. Everything else is back on and I haven't had an issue unlocking no matter what layout I have selected. Now that I have that settled, I still can't get the weather widget to show up on my lockscreen in any layout; it's fine in the NC pull down. I've also noticed that when I use the consolidated layout my mail notifications don't show up whether data protection is enabled or not. It would also be nice to have a global button to disable "show on status bar" instead of going into every notification's settings to do it.

if you are on the main settings page of LI towards the bottom there is a toggle to hide the general notification icon from the status bar.

if you want the weather widget in place of the lock clock then:
go to the weather widget's settings page and where it says lock screen clock turn show weather to on.
If you want it to be with the widgets and not in place of the clock then:
turn on view in lock screen at the top of the weather widget page.

you will probably need to respring and then unlock your device to see what changes have taken affect.

might be worth setting everything to off for mail and then one by one go back and enable everything you want to get it on the lock screen. Respring and see if it works

i was just able to get my mail onto my lock screen in consolidated view and then right back off.

Tried that. Even tried uninstalling and removing preferences before reinstalling. It's annoying because other notifications are working on the lockscreen and I can get mail on the notification screen, just not on the lockscreen.

Guess I just need to hope a later version fixes it.

Turning off the push notifications toggle in the main LockInfo settings doesn't seem to have any effect whether it's on or off. I have to set them all in their individual pages. I don't see another relevant toggle for it on the main page.

I've tried every combination of lock screen clock and weather widget settings. The weather toggle for the stock clock works, show/hide the stock clock works, but setting the weather widget to show on lock screen doesn't work. I've tried every layout option and respringing after every toggle change, still no dice.

Edit: The general notifications toggle had me confused. If it's on any push notification for an app that doesn't specifically have a "View in Status Bar" toggle will show the little square with a dot in the middle of it icon on the status bar. I have that off but the chat bubble icon, mail envelope icon, calendar icon, etc. that show up in the status bar still have to be turned off individually as far as I can tell. A global button for all of those would be nice.

Any way to preview mail on the lockscreen like LI4 had? Also, any way to shorten the preview in the notification center?
 
What settings do I need to change to get the weather in the clock box? I can only get the time to show.

You now have the option to select Consolidated layout instead of Widgets or Notifications view. Glad David is listening to all the feedback. Same for me. The only difference I've noticed is a more descriptive layout settings page. I still can't get the weather widget to show on the lock screen and the SiriLaunch bug hasn't been patched.

Overall some great progress has been made so far though.
 
Is there a way to show only 3 calendar events instead of 5 on the new lockinfo? I was able to set it up that way in lockinfo 4.
 
is anyone else by chance having issues with the following:

1. I have all messages, email, etc set to preview OFF in the notification center however when I receive messages/mail I still get previews on the lockscreen.

2. I also noticed that when I delete an event from my calendar it still appears on the lockscreen and will not go away until I respring.

if you go into your notification center>calendar - there is an option at the very bottom that says Minimum Events.

Keep in mind I am the most recent beta lockinfo (not sure if minimum event option exists in the version found in cydia).

when you play music and double click home button on lockscreen the clock still shows all the information of the song and artist kinda lame
 
I am starting to lose my patience now...

In the latest beta they have introduced as default the lock screen slide in gestures to show/hide the lock screen slider... Now I change the gestures in activator to different settings on slide from bottom... But every time I respring or restart the phone lock info overrides my settings and sets it to show slider on. Slide from bottom, bottom-left and bottom right. Can someone please tell me how to make it stop doing that...?

Go to Setting > Lockinfo > Notifications & Widgets > Mail

Then go into each account you have set and change the Alert style to banners (Some how it is set to none by default), turn the top most notification centre to on and below turn view in lockscreen to on... Both are set to off...

Still not working for me in consolidated layout with these settings. With the other layouts as long as notification center is on and show on lockscreen is on my mail will show up as a notification, but never under widgets.

Edit: What hardware and OS version are you using j4zb4? I have a 4S on 6.1, mail is obviously an issue but I'm not having your slider problem. Hidden slider stays that way though I'm not using slide gestures with activator. When the slider is hidden I have a small bar across the bottom of my screen, when I tap it the slider comes up. I also have tap the status bar to unlock set up in activator and that works fine.

Is there any way to decide interval alert times for messages? Like every "x" secs for "y" time as it could be done in lockinfo 4? I had set to repeat every 30 secs for 5 mins but that's not compatible anymore with ios6

Not yet. You can choose repeat never, once, twice, 3 times, 5 times, and 10 times, but the interval is locked at two minutes for now.

LockInfo > Notifications and Widgets > Messages > Repeat Alert

I see, thank you very much, hopefully Lockinfo 4 that had the feature will get updated or they'll add it to Lockinfo 5, I'd really need it
