iPhone LockInfo 5 just released in Cydia!!!!!

i dont understand the behaviour of this tweak tbh.


it just does the most random of things. today, for instance, on one of my devices it decided to collapse my notifications whereby i had to slide down some invisible "folder?" in order to see them.

the positioning of new notifications is equally random. sometimes they will show where i intended them too, sometimes they will shift all the way up.

additionally, before the latest update i was able to preview mail messages in the lockscreen. now it opens the app and takes me to SB...

yesterday, i had to remove a notification no less than 5 times from my LS before it went away for good.

the fact that the configuration screen is a total mess full of toggles and sliders only the owner understands doesnt help.

i didn't expect anything completely fancy out of this tweak when i got it i just wanted to apply some customisation to my notifications so that they wont get in the way of my widgets. if this was too much to ask i cant imagine what it will be to ask for the app to at least behave in a uniform manner (regardless of how buggy it is) instead of doing one thing one day and something completely different the next.

Sucks that you're having those issues... I'm not having any problems like that. I've actually found it to be really stable and love it. Took a while at first to get used to all the notification settings and how they work, but once I did (and consolidated view came out) I've been happy every since.

have you set a specific location for your notifications to appear? i.e.: using the position slider? do they always show up where you intended them too? and if they do, do they remain in place when dismissing some of them?


the preview of mails i managed to fix. apparently it had to do with me removing lockinfo from the notifications list (i thought it was pointless to have it listed there)

as for the collapse of my mail notifications it fixed upon respring... it was just one occurance but enough to trigger my rant :p
 
Your notification position moving around might be that you have the notifications set to time instead of manual in the notification settings.

Swiping up or down means probably you have Notifications and Widgets selected, use Consolidated

No this has nothing to nothing to do with it. You missunderstood the problem.

I have it on manual and i dont care for widgets on my lockscreen. I have it set up as notifications only.

Its not the hierarchy of widgets+notification that is bothering me, its having a simple new watsapp,mail, sms or whatever notification splashed all over my widget when i specifically instructed it to show elsewhere where theres loads of free room to read them clearly.
 
Does anyone know if there's an option to maintain app badges even after clearing a notification from NC?

I believe he is saying that he has a theme with a widget, likely for the clock, on his lock screen. Lockinfo has a setting that will let you choose the position that the notifications etc. display at in order to not block such widgets on the lock screen. I think he means that that setting does not always work correctly on his device. I'm not sure how to help him though. My lock screen isn't themed so I have Lockinfo using the default position.

i was planning on uploading some screenshots but need to remember when i get new notifications and i havent thus far.

You always text yourself, send an e-mail, create a reminder or any of the other ways to force a notification to your phone ;)

Same here. I can't duplicate that.
 
Is anyone using the "Tap to Widget" on their lockscreen with LockInfo?

I've set up 8 Reminders categories and when trying to add a reminder from the lockscreen I can only select the first four in the list. The others, along with the cancel button, are unresponsive. Adding a calendar item with multiple calendars is working fine for any of them.

I've emailed the "Tap to Widget" developer via the Cydia page but he's unresponsive so far.
 
so i miss my lockinfo from ios5. looked like this.


is there anyway to get lockinfo 5 to look like this? ive tried to mess with settings...having a hard time. any help is appreciated.

does anyone know how to keep 'messages' always up on LS, not just when one arrives.


and what is that black box with red circle in it, and how to get rid off
