Just a small update, I went back again today (I work in the same plaza) and the Macbooks on display are the original revision Macbooks, so they were the initial release with the problem. I'm aware that they're suppossedly on revision D or E by now and they probably don't have the issues (as much).

I would have, except the Apple store doesn't acknowledge this as a defect or they just don't hear it, so to them it's a perfectly good display model. :)

They are still at Rev. A
The only that changes now is the Serial#. But when Rev.B arrives you will notice. I mean, there needs to be a major change (like HD, USB ports, DL Drive, and that kind of things). All present MBP are Rev. A

Wrong. They've been changing them, in slight ways, to fix problems and bugs and stuff. Not offical releases.

Finally I have arrived.....
I have not experienced how hot MBP gets (I only looked at it at Apple and CompUSA stores). From what I hear on the forums like this, it seems it gets hotter than PB. I hope iCurve does not get melted by putting MBP on it.

Even though I am interested in buying new Mac (despite the fact I don't need a new one at least until next year), this type of hardware issues make me pause (until next year) before I buy the new Intel Mac.

There are no documents available on Apple's internal technical database that indicate that there have been any technical revisions whatsoever. This is a myth propagated by an article on Dailytech. This article failed to provide any evidence beyond hearsay.
