I think there is a lot of built up demand for a new updated Mini! Just like there was for the SE iPhone.

Oddly enough I think there’s a good chance this will happen. A next generation consumer non-Pro iPad in the same “edge to edge” design as the iPhone X.

Otherwise I find it odd that the iPad mini 4 is still around and hasn’t been officially discontinued. It cannot be that difficult to do a simple internals upgrade from A8 -> A10 at the minimum; I feel Apple might have something up their sleeve.
