I'm looking for a dock for my Mac Mini M2.
I don't need Thunderbolt, but would like a space to add integrated storage. SD card slot would be nice, but a selection of USB A and C ports is necessary.
The Satechi one that has the same footprint as the Mac Mini looks good, but I don't think it would help that much to clear up the cable clutter that's starting to bug me.

Anyone got any thoughts on the best way to tidy up my desk and add ports?

Thanks.

I can vouch for the Satechi hub. For me, it's the missing component that should ship with all Mac Mini's but that's another conversation.

As for the cable management, you're going to have cables regardless of whichever hub you go with. Using my desk as an example...

Since my Mac Mini is tucked away under my monitor riser, I dont even notice the cables out the back but it's like the old saying..."Ignorance is bliss".
