Sorry, your right, the request was for a lens under $800. Didn't mean to come across as a ****. Although you might be able to find the lens second hand for ~$800. Nowt wrong with a second hand one as long as its well looked after.

Ordered a sigma 50-150 2.8f HSM II on amazon. free shipping, no tax. Will arrive middle of the week. The size and quality glass was what made this lens such a great value, especially for the price. I did two weeks of research and decided on this lens in the end. If I had the money I would hop on the 70-200 VR (I actually have the money, but can't justify buying one to the wifey)
