Actually, on further reflection, June is a real toss-up depending on what happens with the next iPhone. It's pretty much a given that the next hardware revision of the iPhone is likely to be released around the end of June 2010.
IF that new iPhone remains exclusive to AT&T, then consider yourself SOL until at least the end of the September. Why? Because AT&T knows they're going to have people lining up at their stores to get the new iPhone, and they can cherry pick their new signups. Demand is also very high and you can bet there will be shortages. AT&T won't need ANY help boosting their subscriber numbers. So, credit requirements are undoubtedly going to be stiff.
BUT.... IF.... IF the new iPhone is non-exclusive and a version of it also goes on sale for Verizon, THEN I'd say you'd have a really good chance because AT&T will want your business badly. They will want to outsell Verizon any way they can.
However, I'd still say the chances of an iPhone on Verizon are less than 50%. Verizon is arrogant, and no matter how much business sense it may make, Jobs hates dealing with companies as arrogant as he is. Verizon will likely make demands that Apple will not be willing to accept, especially with the Droid getting top billing on Verizon's network.
