Lost iphone in NY. Advice?

From my limited experience, most of the people I've met from NY are less than honorable.
Count on it being gone unfortunately.

And from my [extensive] experience, people who don't live on the coasts are closed minded, conservative, and won't talk to you unless you're white. It's fun to generalize!

And how would you feel if it was your phone that was lost? I can honestly say that if I found a phone in a cab in NYC, I would return it. Wouldn't you do the same?

It doesn't matter to me whether or not it's likely that if I lost my phone, someone would return it. What matters to me is doing the right thing because somewhere down the road you're going to be glad you did.
