iPhone X lost my iPhone X and am glad to get either an 8 or a 6 refurbished

It’s intereting, because the 6S Plus is extremely popular right due to the battery replacement. If it’s in good condition, they have increased in value when I last checked Swappa.

Yeah, Ive wanted to return this iphone since the day i bought it. Just havent been a fan of it, and wish I had never sold my 6s+

Just because the iPhone 6 you receive would be "new" doesn't eliminate the fact that it'll be sluggish to use right off the bat and downright awful in a year. It's nearly four generations old at this point.

If I had to replace to iPhone X, I'd get 8 Plus without hessitation.

* I find portrait usage of the iPhone X not great, the notch is prominent, and the screen is narrower than 6/7/8 Plus models.
* I really miss the physical home button.
* On balance I prefer TouchID.

I voted for the 8. Speed wise and performance wise they are pretty identical. Granted one has Face ID and the other a home button with Touch ID but for $200 less it won’t let ya down.

I would replace my X with another exactly the same (well I might change colour) without the slightest hesitation. It is IMHO the best iPhone ever and I would not want to go back to a previous model or the 8/8+.

If I didn't have AppleCare and had to pay outright? I'd go with an 8 myself. After using the X it's not that huge of an upgrade to me to where I'd be willing to pay an extra $300 for an X... However this is only if I had to pay outright. I say 8 and not 7 because I like wireless charging.

Glad i have insurance. I would not be able to go back to the older conventional iPhone design. I find myself trying to swipe up on my fiance's iPhone 7 Plus.

I do that on my friends Google Pixel 2XL lol... I tried that on my sisters 8+ and it opened control center and muscle memory took over and I was back lol.

Meh. At this point in the game I would never go back to 1/2 GB of RAM. iOS and Apps are getting bloated and that extra gb makes all the difference to me. Probably guarantees one more iOS release before becoming obsolete where I would be surprised if the 6 gets support beyond iOS 12.

X for sure. I have an 8 for work and an X for my personal phone and I love my X. My 8 is nice and I don’t need two Xs...but I wouldn’t want my primary phone to still have a home button and the chins.
