how is it not common sense to store a big phone in a biggest pocket you got??

This reminds me when Steve Jobs told people that they are holding their phone wrong. I guess what he meant was "Our engineers had no real life experience on an actual user use their device"

no, I don't put my phone in my back pocket, but its absolutely retarded that Apple didn't see this happening.

I haven't conducted a scientific study on this, but I'm pretty sure all of my jeans (boot cut, not baggy), suit pants, shorts, etc. have larger side pockets than back ones. This may not be true for women, but the expectation likely was that they'd put it in their purse.

Hypothetical: If your back pocket was big enough to fit an iPad mini in there, would you actually do that and sit on it?

Maybe the Apple structural engineers working on the iPhone 6/6 Plus also believed it was common sense to not put a long thin and flat piece of glass and metal between a significant amount of one's body weight on a round butt and a seat.

maybe Apple Engineers need to "think different"??

1... Why are we making a phone so thin? (since apologists are all suggesting putting a case on, why can't the phone be thicker so a bigger battery can fit in)
2... why are we making it in a metal that is highly malleable?
3... why can't a phone into any pocket an user wants without bending within the first 3 weeks of launch?

I'm so over this guy. Go collect your iPhone 6 Bendgate check and go on vacation or something. We'll get a Nexus 6 bend test in a couple of weeks. Sigh.

I agree. Before he did his video, no one cared if a phone bent. Now, everyone is asking "does your phone bend?" and vandalizing property that isn't theirs, just to make a video.
Does the iPhone bend? Yes, provided you apply enough force to it to do so. Regardless of where that force is coming from. Just take care of your devices. You wouldn't park your brand new car close to another car, for fear of scratches or dents, right? So, use the same common sense on your phone.

Because you can't make a thick phone thinner, but you can make a thin phone thicker?

how will it help us users when a thin phone cannot function properly in real life without a thick case?

much rather a thick phone with bigger battery (or even swappable battery, dare I dream?)

Good. Maybe if he bends enough phones it will force manufacturers to realize that smartphones are just too delicate for their intended purpose. In my estimation a smartphone should be as durable as a wallet. We take our smartphones everywhere and even when we leave our wallet at home we have a phone with us. Technology has a ways to go but at this point it seems like smartphone designers don't even consider durability as a goal. It's more like nuisance so they meet a minimum standard to call it good.

It's like selling cars that leak when it rains without a special cover. Then people defend it: "Only an idiot would drive a car in the rain! Deal with it!"

I'll say the same thing about this as I did with the iPhone 6 Plus- this is stupid.

I find Samsung phones to be generally awful, but the Note 4 bending is a non-issue. It's obviously plenty durable and just as with the 6 Plus, it's not going to be an issue in normal usage.

Your uninformed. The force required (Note 3 & 4) is much higher than the point at which the iPhone bends when tested with equipment designed for this type of test.

The Note 3 & 4, are currently the most durable bend resistant phones money can buy. I've carried mine for a year without any problems. It's a great smartphone series. Yet so are my iPhones, just a bit limited in capability.

I think iOS 8 is showing a gradual shift it from Apple havimg control to the consumer getting control. For example third party keyboards and other apps filters in native apps.

That's funny, because the Note 4 gets released today. Unlikely you've been carrying it around for a year.

Anyone outside of Apples walled garden can read and comprehend my post. It said nothing about carrying a Note 4.

Yet your desire to create chaos and hate is a common trait around here :)

Actually, you mentioned the 3 and 4, and made a blanket statement as if you have been carrying around both models for some time and personally know the characteristics of both models. Anyone lacking an agenda can read and see that.

The truth is the Note 4 has a significantly different materials composition (metal frame) from the Note 3 (all plastic, including frame). So basing your assumption of how the Note 4 will hold up on your use of the Note 3 would be pretty inaccurate at best, and downright misleading at worst.

Yet your desire to create chaos and hate is a common trait around here :)

Far from it. I think people should use whichever device they like, but should make truthful statements based on their actual use.

They were advertising the many features.....

Oh boy, you really love to poke fun at Apple, including in your sig:p

Very off topic I know, but how's the battery on the 6? I was originally gonna go for the + as i mentioned before but I realised my Nexus 4 barely fits in my jeans so I'm considering the 6 now. Have you typed up a review for the 6? I would be very interested in reading it.

I do like to poke fun...but I am also an Apple fan too.

The IP6 battery is a little better than the IP5s i had before. It has been off the charger for 12 hours with light use today and it is at 63%. Not too bad!

So do you think it would destroy a Nexus in battery life? Atm, I take it off the charger at 7AM and it NEEDS to get on the charger by around 2-6PM(The battery range is significant for some reason) some days it will be at 0% by 3 sometimes 20 by 6.

Maximum sot on this phone is 2 and a half to 3hrs depending on brightness and 3G. I'm hoping the 6 will be much better.

And I have a Nexus 4 which is even worse, so that sounds promising:D

How is the camera you reckon? Have you had performance issues? (sorry if I am being annoying, you of course don't have to answer.)

I'm sure the Samsung dogs will be after him soon. He will probably disappear lol

Given the amount of money he has generated by manipulating this 'scandal' (if it is a scandal - to me it's as others have said more common sense than scandal) then he will likely be around for a while.

That being said, I used to subscribe to his channel but since this I have grown cynical of his manipulations and question his reasoning / motivations for his video findings and therefore no longer subscribe.

I need to trust my reviewers integrity, I have issues with unbox therapy integrity.
