I heard someone on a podcast talking about this phone saying it was a step back from the 520 considering it is newer

Not sure I will ever use my 521 again.

LTE, better processor, bigger screen, 8.1 preinstalled and the list goes on. Without specifics, hard to guess why they favor the 520. And the price is reasonable as well if not an outright steal.

I wouldnt call Paul Thurrott a hater, he is huge on Windows phone and MS in general. I will have to go back and listen to that section again, maybe I am getting the model mixed up with another

Microsoft missed the boat by not adding a front facing cam. If they did, younger folks would flock to it as there aren't many phones at that price point with front cams.

I always have to ask; Do you mean GMail or that hideous mess called 'email' designed for AOSP clients?

There are features I really like in gmail, like the 'unsubscribe button' being right up top now next to the senders name, built in auto download of attachments, proper reflow and image centering, etc. WP is quick, because it is less graphically developed and runs unilateral conversation compilation when several emails come from the same person. Can be a bit jerky jerky in use.

The hideous mess - I'm also not a fan of having my email accounts segmented....one view for all with the best features.

You didn't say it was Paul. You just said someone on a podcast. While everyone has an opinion, Paul is def not a WP hater. He may not like the 635, but imo it is not a step back. More like a side-step with a baby foot forward.

When I reply to a group text conversation it sends my response to my phone. Basically I reply and then right away my response comes back like it was from someone else. So on the right are my replies and on the left are everyone else's replies and my replies. How can I fix this?
