So Windows x86 can also run through QEMU/UTM, but again the performance is not great:
I've even tried myself, but saying performance isn't great is an understatement. You'll also run into lockups, lost mouse cursors, and other things. There is hope for the future though. I hope they keep trying to make it work better.
 
I am happy with Parallels. I have been a long-time user of VMware, but Parallels has been more aggressive in performance and features on both Intel and ARM64.
The ARM64 license is a non-issue. Microsoft is "soft" on it until their Qualcomm exclusive runs out "real soon now."
I have had no trouble entering my Pro license keys.
 
Has anyone tried running Anaconda on Win11 ARM in Parallels on an M1? The single thing I ever use Parallels for is testing conda environments on Windows to make sure that an environment file (for a course) is cross platform (with its pinned versions).

I know that's a hyper-specific question, but maybe there are others of my particular nerd flavor around.
