Also the Razer blade 15 advanced is thicker than the iMac 24".

The Razer blade is 15.8mm and the iMac is 11.5mm thick.

The razor also folds in half and the iMac bans all the electronics from behind the scree ( has to fit chin where there is no screen ) .

Divide the Razor in half and it is approximately 8mm versus 11.5mm . ( the lid would have to be 4.3mm thin for them to be even. Nevermind the keyboard depth )

You are wrong.
Source:

MacBook Pro M1 specs:
M1
8GB RAM 256SSD

PC Specs:
-CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x cooled by a Noctua U14S
-GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
-Motherboard: GIGABYTE AORUS PRO B550 ATX AM4
-RAM: 16GB 3200Mhz CL16

The 1060 max Q came out in 2017 ( and base silicon in 2016 ) . TSMC 16nm fab ( which was behind Intel in that era in density ) .

The M1 probably was in the design spec generate phase 4 years ago . M1 wins . Ryzen 5000 coupled to a 3060 probably will too

Aplle has managed to avoid major chip shortage problems , but don’t have to deal with overall PC market volume either

This test is only half a story.

It depends on source footage, output quality, output coded, camera source, etc.

I have exported around 500 h.264 videos this year. Much more if if include test renders before final output.

The PC with RTX 2080 renders faster than the M1 every time. Not massively faster but you see the progress bar just go zip zip zip on the full size dGPU much faster than real time.

The M1 is still very impressive and machine stays cool so I can edit in bed or my lap. If I do that with Intel MBP I roast my nuts with that noisy jet engine.

Some masked comps and renders in After Effects are handled pretty well on M1 and it’s not even native or universal app.

so does the M1 MBP 13" fold in half. The iMac and MBP have the same performance
