Well I just purchased a blue, and I love it. I typically go for the same ole silver, but wanted to mix it up a bit.

I'm sure they'll come out with a new iMac now since I just bought this one, but this is more than I need anyway. I was just ready to go back to a bigger screen than my 12.9 pro.

That's definitely what I've been thinking lately. The bezel after all isn't pure white, it's a light gray, so it does blend the best with silver.
This is exactly right, I don't notice the bezels at all. Incidentally, I used to keep track of the popularity of colours that were ordered on amazon. Just thought it was an interesting experiment to look into. See below.

Ha, that’s smart and interesting! I would not have guessed that pink would be so close to the green model. I personally love the teal/green color and the yellow color and I hope the colors will stay with the M3 revision.

Here's a question for M1 iMac fans- do you still find yourself appreciating all the different colours?
I love the color of mine (orange) but sadly I don't see much of it because it's backed up against the wall my desk is in front of. Generally, I think it's a great design, and a clever callback to the colorful iMac G3 that came out in 1998.

Exactly. And the thing all the people who whinge about the bezels completely miss is that when the display is on, your eyes adjust to that -- so the apparent brightness of the bezels is brought way down to a totally neutral gray. Here's what mine looks light right now, in a decently lit room.

Congratulations on your new iMac....
Every single color has its charms....
I'm still running a 2011 27" iMac at home.
My friend bought the yellow iMac for her small one room language academy.

That yellow looks amazing in that space! I love it!

I’m planning to upgrade one of my grandson’s iPads, and he wants the yellow 10th gen (his brother and sister have the blue and pink). I think it’s such a fun color!

Thanks for the kind words....

Your grandchildren are fortunate to have their own iPads.... It slipped my mind that they came in different colors.... I went to the Apple store after reading your post and saw yellow color your grandson is hoping for. It certainly looks bright and cheerful. I'm sure he'll love it.

Anyway, I know you were looking forward to buy an iMac for sometime now... I'm glad that you were able to reward yourself.
