From my testing it seems like 8Gb M1 Mac mini has not enough RAM to run 40+ voices of Sibelius 7 Sounds. But I suspect it's just an incompatibility with the OS, which leads to not proper RAM handling. But I can be wrong. Wonder if 16Gb is enough, because RAM usage monitor shows only 6Gb of used RAM.

when i run it without rosetta i tells me "you do not have a permission to open the application

I wasn’t aware of any way to run Intel-only apps without Rosetta. And if there is, it is supposed not to run, hence “Intel-only”.

I'm considering getting the same model for Sibelius - which is showing occasional latency with very large files on my Windows laptop. Did you succeed in getting Sibelius working well on your new Mac?
M1 with Finale/Sibelius/Other: I just ordered the fancy new 2020 MacbookPro with the M1 processor. Now I learn Finale and Notion have NO plans to make their software compatible, and Sibelius has Rosetta glitches. Please share your thoughts.
