M1 ultra hangs on os update

My usually rock solid M1 Ultra has hung about 5% of the progress bar on the second boot during today update.

This happened with the update previously also.

Anyone else?

FYI. Just doing a reinstall via recoveryOS. Disk utility came back clean.
