Edit: actually, no, it’s not. Super weird. Especially given that CHF prices are in line with the current exchange rates but EUR are not. Does Apple foresee sharp decline of EUR performance relative to USD?
That's likely, no? With the oil ban talks, EU inflation could increase significantly and their economy could go into the toilet real soon.

Singapore
Hmm, here in Singapore, an M2 MBA with 16gb ram and 512gb storage is $2299, while the entry level 14" MBP is $2999. So $700 for more GPU cores and an extra HDMI + SD card slot. Not cheap (the entry level M1 MBA is $1499), but still a no brainer to take it over the MBP unless I really need the sustained performance.

I think you should note that those prices are SGD(s$).

I’m sorry what?

Dollar getting stronger? You know what inflation is yes?

Your dollar buying less stuff. The US dollar is getting weaker.
The dollar is getting stronger comparatively to other currencies. I’m talking about the exchange rate. Apple’s prices outside the US are always based on a number of factors, the exchange rate being one of them. They actually said on their last earnings session they were facing headwinds.
Example: if you could buy double the amount of euros with 1$, the price would approximately double.
