Being that 16GB of RAM is now the official Mac Apple standard. The next iteration of Apple Silicon iPads will have 16 GB and 24GB RAM options. No more 256GB. 16GB on 512 GB & 1TB. 2TB to 4TB get 24GB

Phones and iPads will have 8GB ram standard for quite a bit. Apple AI is goign to optimize for compatibility, bank on that.

i tend to agree with the latter.
plus, apple is known to delay the 'easy' upgrades for as long as possible.
and now it's the refresh rate of the screen and ram.

they will stick with 60hz for the non-pros, and 8gb for most of the pros, for as inhumanely long as possible.

once their sales are starting to drop significantly, then they will do the easy refresh, and brand them as the BIGGEST change ever.

I don’t think Apple will update iPad Pro with M5. Maybe M6. They skipped M3 on iPad Pro.

If they release a new Air with M4 in April next iPad Pro will definitely get the M5

M3 got skipped partily because of N3B Mode but the main reason is because It’s 18 TOPS for an iPad Pro in 2024 would look bad hence the M4 iPad Pro which can deal almost double the TOPS of M3
