Today, I released Yoink v3.2.5 - a maintenance and bugfix update that improves compatibility with macOS Sierra and the Photos.app, as well as refinements and improvements throughout the entire app.
It's a free update for existing users of the app, a free demo can be downloaded from the website.

The app simplifies and improves drag and drop on your Mac, making you more productive by speeding up your workflows!

What's New:
Most importantly, this new version lets you bring back files that you previously removed from Yoink.
Also, there's lots of smaller new features and improvements, like sharing links directly from within your browser to Yoink, or webloc files showing the favicons of the links they point to.

I've released Yoink v3.3.1 last week, with a couple of improvements and fixes:

  • The amount of files you drag out of Yoink are now shown next to your cursor
  • Two options for automatically adjusting Yoink's window size: 3 items minimum, and 1 item minimum
  • In most cases, images dragged from applications (like Safari) are now available for dragging right away, instead of being greyed out for a little while
  • Large drag previews are now resized so they don't cover Yoink's window anymore
  • Nicer drag previews when dragging to Yoink
  • On macOS Sierra 10.12 and "higher", Yoink now uses "responsive scrolling" (for a smoother scrolling experience)
  • Improved fetching of favicons
  • When dragging a URL as plain text, it's now turned into a webloc file instead of a text clipping

⚡️ Yoink 3.4 is now available, bringing you many improvements and fixes, as well as a new feature:
Add contents from your clipboard to Yoink.

Yoink provides a temporary place for your file- and app-content drags, freeing your mouse so you can more easily and comfortably navigate to the actual destination of your drag.

I've installed the Alfred file action, but how do I use it with Alfred exactly? When I select a file with Alfred I'm not seeing an option for Yoink. I feel like it's obvious, but my brain isn't firing on all cylinders today.

when you search for a file using Alfred, press the right arrow key on it and you should have a list of apps you can send the file to - Yoink should be among that list. Select it and press enter - now it should appear in Yoink.
