DIY upgrading the hard disk to a 500GB Seagate Momentus XT (Hybrid with 4GB SLC flash)
It's a stopgap solution. Mostly browsing, IM, mail and media consumption. However there will be light gaming and heavy use of some Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 VMs for development.
