The fact is I am right, as it makes no difference whatsoever with real life performance.

I've been using it since the original 1984 Macintosh.

Benchmarks only matter in showing performance deltas, but real life performance are not accurately reflected in benchmarks whatsoever.

You're more of the troll by grabbing an article that is totally invalid.

It is you who should do your homework. That article you posted assumes that the i5 doesn't have hyper threading, when in actual fact, Apple does use i5s with HT.

Lol, sure I'm trolling my own thread by posting an article that doesn't live up to your high and mighty standards? Don't make me laugh. Not to mention the fact that digital trends is a reputable site.

Your OWN article proves it! Did you not read anything I wrote? Answer me this, why does it matter to you so much that I spent an extra 160 quid to get a better, faster process that has 1MB more cache?

And saying it makes no real-life difference is just wrong. It may not make a big difference as I've said all along, but it makes a difference. And that small difference can add up depending on what tasks are being carried out.

What tasks do you perform that you need a 3.0ghz i7, 16gb memory and a 1tb ssd?

It matters to me that you are spending money that could have been better utilized on food, petrol, a donation to the Salvation Army or something that could have contributed back to the society instead of spending it on something so that you can have bragging rights with a maxed-out Mini.

Spending the extra 160 quid on the i7 is like spending it on making your penis bigger so that you can tell others that you've a slightly larger penis which goes up and down at almost the same rate with the others.

My thoughts precisely.
