I think a no frills, dead easy plug and play Mac mini in that form factor is going to be great for mainstream consumers.

Agree with your first sentence, but sorry no, I don't agree that everyone knows to change RAM in their computers. Try telling people like my parents how to change RAM. Seriously, good luck.

And why is this even a point in discussion? The PR shills already made that decision. The RAM in the current Mac mini is already isn't even user replaceable.
