Have been doing a little hunt for anything on this matter from Quark but I can't find anything except industry speculation for a universal binary from them sometime in 2007.

If that's the case, then personally my guess would be that we'd see a version of QuarkXpress 7 ready to run on an Intel Mac. Maybe 7.5 or something like that...

QuarkXpress 8 is probably due 2008/9'ish and if this is the first universal binary from them this would be perceived as a blunder despite the graphic and print industry's tendency to upgrade hardware slowly.

Instead of user's littering the forum with UB software announcements, perhaps we can get a FAQ sticky going with links to Guides. Has this already been done. I've been too arsed to do a search.

I've made a list of universal binaries in the Guides, so now we can maintain a running list of apps that are officially universal and available, and apps that have been announced as universal. Hopefully this'll be a little bit more maintainable than threads everywhere. :)

Cool - I added the main Omni apps. I'll add the rest of the Universal Omni apps and some others in a bit...

The list of shipping applications is a bit random with edits going at the top and bottom. Is it worth making this alphabetic?

I think that the list of shipping applications should be alphabetical by name, but the bottom list should be by company name and alphabetical. That makes sense to me, but we should probably continue this discussion in this thread.
