For me, Spaces is more than enough to prompt me to upgrade. The rest will be sweet gravy.

Stacks will be awesome for me...as will a more stable Safari 3 and Quick Look...

I'm sure that Core Animation will be huge once devs start using it to its full potential :)

Resolution Independence

I am a new iMac 24" screen user. Moved to Mac from 15+ years with Windows. I love everything about the Mac

EXCEPT . . . the lack of resolution independence. Man ! ! Windows has offered that for years.

With this 24" display running at native resolution (1920x1200) some of the text is just too small to read. Yeah, I know; you can use the control>mouse-scroll to magnify an area, and that is a small help in some situaltions. But, it is a poor substitute for resolution independence. Using the magnify feature makes things larger (temporarily) but very fuzzy. Not too good.

Since Windows has offered this for years, surely the subject has come up with Mac SW designers. Puzzling.

Sure hope Leopard will add that feature.

Widnows hasn't had this for years, only Vista adds support for it.

Technically speaking you are correct.

BUT, Windows has (for years) had the ability to make text smaller or larger. . . by exercising that choice in the options panel. Solves many of the same problems with text size.
