Even if a kext is damage, you would need to have a good-known one or install again your system.

You could try verbose mode:

CMD + V during startup to see if there is any suspiscious log

You do not have a recovery partition? Why you need to go through these steps?

I will try but I don't know if recovery will work on my nvme
Also I need to switch 980GTX to 120Gt to have display working without nvidia drivers (for verbose mode also)

Hello
I'm back, and sound is back !!!

Yesterday I have switched my 980GTX to 120GT, started in recovery mode.
Installed High Sierra over my "old" system
Boot on this new High Sierra : Sound back
Check for update : Security update 2018-002, Pro Video Format and Safari 12.0.1
Reboot : gray screen with folder blinking...
-> Go to sleep, will see tomorrow...

Today, I start my mac, update continue (gray screen "installation in progress"
Arriving on my session : sound is always here !

Switch back to Nvidia Web Driver and 980GTX, reboot : everything works fine

Thanks for your help misanthrophy, Macschrauber and h9826790 :)
