Mac Pro 2012 12 Core - How much energy does it use compared to a normal quad core machine?

I just tested. Yes the vtdecoderxpcservice runs during 4K video playback. It uses about 150% CPU.

Is this on your Mac Pro 12 core or your HACKINTOSH?

Thanks. I thought this was a problem that Hackintoshes had. In that case, I don't think I'll be getting the Mac Pro 5,1 and will probably remain a hackintosher until I can afford the trash can mac pro.
