Mac Pro - 3,1, Stuck at Prohibitory Screen, advice?

Yes, I will do that. But, I can't get to OSX any longer, I'm stuck at that black screen still. Holding Alt, or Option, resetting PRAM, etc. does nothing.

Maybe you erased your install trying to split the disk? If so, reinstall it.

Your keyboard is a USB one? BT/Wireless keyboards usually can't get to boot screen.

Pay attention to the keyboard problem, some keyboards, even the Apple Wireless one, can't get to the boot screens/clear NVRAM.
