And you even have the monitor. Awesome! I noticed two prices. Is it $300 for the whole setup or $300 for the Mac and $175 for the monitor?

Yeah, I’m asking $300 for the Mac Pro and $175 for the monitor....have no idea if these are fair prices or not. :)

I don’t know. $300 may be too high for the Mac, and I do think $175 is too much for the monitor.

Actually, have you tried OfferUp? I have a friend who has had great success on there. The prices you have on Craigslist would possibly fit there better

Off topic, just use your MP3,1 as a bootcamp Windows machine. I am running Win10 64-bit pro on it, and it is fast enough. It is stable, cool and it runs the 3D applications I need it for -- cone beam 3D scans for a dental office. None of the newer HP or Dell computers we have can keep up. Shame on those companies -- Apple really did build nice hardware rigs IMHO. And since Apple has decided to orphan this machine while Microsoft has made efforts to keep my Mac alive, I went to the dark side.

Specs?

Octocore 2.8, 18Gb, Micron 1Tb SSD, GTX 1060 Gb -- and if you are wondering if I play games on it, the answer is yes. I have a Origin subscription so it plays Battlefield V, Anthem and FIFA just fine -- I have had 9 of these computers for some 9-11 years, so the cost for keeping it alive was cheaper than investing in expensive, questionable, new hardware. Most of my other computers are running on the GT120 card which is just fine if you are not playing games or manipulating 3D models.

Well, as of last night my Mac is back up and running with dual 3.2GHz's, 32GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5770 OEM part, and added this morning, macOS High Sierra. Thank you all. This has been an interesting ride.

Just one more question though, the CPU A die offset temps according to iStat are running 20-25ºF hotter than the CPU B die offsets. Is that normal?

I'm not seeing anything like that in mine ... check for blocked heatsink, perhaps re-apply thermal paste.

Ok, I'll check when I get home from work tonight. And I used IC Graphite thermal pads instead of paste.
Perhaps the pad shifted when you went to install the heatsink?
[doublepost=1559164924][/doublepost]also note that my temps are in C which is standard when talking computer component temps... converted to F there is about a 10 degree swing in F at the extreme end between die 2 A and die 1 B.

I will check all that when I get home. Went home for a few, and had to leave again fast for something, so I didn’t get a chance. Thanks!

Here is a screen of my temps in C.

Well, to give a final update to my Mac Pro; it died about a month ago, and wouldn't boot no matter what. Did some searching online, and found out after some testing that my logic board had failed. Ordered a new one on November 12th, and received it on the 15th. Put it in last night and everything works now. I'm now typing this reply from my Mac Pro.

Thanks everyone.
