IMHO, if you can easily and cost effectively find a MP4,1 (2009), go for it without doubt. Upgrade the firmware to 5,1 and you have a officially supported Mac on High Sierra.Thanks

Could I trouble you with one last question, I have a 2008 3.2ghz quad core, 26MB memory and the Nvidia original video card.
I can't decide wether to upgrade the memory to 64 and add a SSD or go for a 4.1 or 5.1 machine.
The reason is because I have a new MacBook pro and the two can't swap some files due to the High Sierra OS.
Any thoughts?
If you can't find one immediately, you can buy the SSD/GPU and search for a Mac Pro 2009 without rush. You can reuse your new SSD/GPU when you find one, but the FB-DIMM memory you can't. So, keep your memory as is.
