Is there a particular reason you need/want boot screens.
Most do not actually need it, which gives you a wider choice of GPU.

X5677's are cheap but you won't get a massive jump between your current setup and going to X5677's.

Here's a Geekbench 5 results on my system:

The threads are too long now unless there is some new summary thread I don't know about.
I haven't done this - #1,314 - yet, but the reports are good. I was an early adopter of the Hex Method for AMD Hardware Acceleration, and found that @h9826790 's instructions are good. If there was any issue, it was me not following the instructions exactly.

But I have followed that the Opencore thread for sometime. Like all "brain surgery" there is a good discussion of things to watch out for/didn't work/tips. As I have upgraded my 4/5,1 cMP along the way, in ways that Apple never foresaw, I like to be informed. You may feel differently.

Cool, I guess it was when I still hadn't upgraded to High Sierra that I downloaded 4. (and wanted to compare against my old machine with direct #'s. I'll post my 5 results in a bit.

Nice, baseline model of 2019 Mac Pro is 8000ish, coming in at 6000ish isn't damn bad for 2009 Mac.
