Does your GPU support Metal?
I don't see it in the compatible list.

Do you have both 6 pin's connected.

You do not need a Mac version, boot screen is not essential.

Can you boot into a different OS version on your Mac Pro, to check GPU.

Not every card has GOP-functionality; i guess it is mandatory for oc.

But it is easy to add GOP w/ flashing the card.

Can you dump your videocard-bios? Access to a Windows-pc? Possible to update the bios of videocard?

Do the GPU fans spin.
Have you tried different ports.

As mentioned above, it could be related to OC (I don't use it).
Do you have a spare drive you could install High Sierra onto with just the 5770 installed.
You can then check if it's the GPU/OC causing the problem (it may be a defective GPU).

You may be better asking in the OpenCore thread:

I have no experience with OC sorry.

There maybe some other thing it doesn’t work my cmos battery holder is broken so I don’t have a cmos battery in my mac maybe that has something to do with the fact it doesn’t work
