I had a few hiccups with my Mac Pro order: I ordered through the business team at the Apple Store and as our office is currently closed I asked them to get delivered to my home address which took a while as I had to provide ID in advance.
Then, they only half changed the address and left the first line of the office address in the delivery address which caused absolute chaos at UPS when it landed as they unilaterally changed the address to our office address based on that first line after it sitting on the delivery van for a day
I phoned them and got them to change it to my home address which caused another day’s delay.
On the next day I rang again to double check where they were delivering it and was assured it was my home address so I was somewhat surprised to get a call at lunchtime from the driver telling me he was outside our office!
Fortunately, I only live about 10 minutes from our office so I drove over there and met him and finally got my hands on it.
Having said all that and after all those delays, it was only 2 weeks from start to finish and only took 48 hours for the factory in the USA to configure it so pretty impressive
