The weirdest part is, I have not software updated or anything recently. Still on 13.1, although I DO have the "download and install only security updates" checkbox enabled -- so I am thinking perhaps these issues are coming from that?
Some people have reported wonky behavior after the install of the Rapid Security Response update. Have you tried rolling that back? instructions here: What is a Rapid Security Response (RSR)?

If not, maybe try what I linked in post 12 above. That will reset your machine's sleep/wake schedule, and should fix it (if it's still happening).

That was it, I tried to avoid terminal commands so I started with the simple user settings I could change but this command: "sudo pmset -a tcpkeepalive 0" fixed it for me at least on the network side.
