And you do that while sitting by your desk, as opposed of sitting on your couch. And how much do you have to pay to be able to play like that on your Mac?

Like I said: PS3 and Mac pro are two totally different animals.

Actually, I WORK on my Mac Pro on my desk (since that's what I bought it for, not to play games, it just happens to do that very nicely as an added bonus), but I can also play it from my couch since I have on in the same office. I also hooked it up to an HD projector from time to time to play on that. They're totally different animals, but more to my point, I don't need a PS3 when I can do everything the PS3 can do and more on my Mac Pro thanks very much. You might be different, you might WANT to waste $600 on a crappy console, but I don't.

Its the most overhyped pos ever.

It's too bad the PS3 didn't use a better Graphics card. I know the graphics are nice, but if this thing is going to stick around for a couple years it will lose it's awe factor fast

I've seen a couple of head to head reviews of games that have been released on both PS3 and 360 recently. To be honest... the 360 versions look a little better IMO.

See: http://uk.gamespot.com/features/6162742/index.html?sid=6162742

Buy a 360, save the spare money towards a nice Mac Book Pro :)
