[edit] fwiw, i'm not trying to imply you're a (whatever) for saying it runs hot.. it probably does.. i don't have mine yet to get an opinion on whether it's warm, hot, or don't put your hands near the thing..

For the ultimate cooling solution I suggest sitting the can over a meshed tray containing some liquid nitrogen. I doubt they'll be that much hot heat coming out of the top of the can after that!

You make the assumption that the OP is indeed Kenneth Tong. While that may be true, there are many people who choose names of real people as their username, even though they themselves are not that person. If that were not true, then Steve Jobs has been posting in this thread long after he passed away.

That's true. Hard to know for sure. The posts seems to fit the profile. But regardless, whether it is him or someone pretending to be him, the person doesn't really warrant giving attention to.

I don't know, I'm actually interested in how hot the Pro's case (and the air around it) gets, as I want to know if it gets unnecessarily hot because Apple wanted to make it quiet and (unnecessarily) small.

As long as it's quiet, and doesn't throttle back when the heat builds up I don't think people will be too bothered by the heat. I'm just hoping the heat doesn't build up over time, as dust builds up on the interior of the machine.
