:'(

my steam keeps saying it needs to be online to update :'( and wont even tell me its in closed beta

Hi All

Why have Mac Rumours put that Steam download link on the front page when there is still nothing official being said or released yet.

Kept hitting "still in Beta" but just now when I tried to launch Steam again, it downloaded a second update, and now my non-beta account appears to be active.

Perhaps we're good to go?

EDIT: Note, the Steam client still seems to be in beta and the mac store is not yet available, but non-beta accounts should be able to log in.

Launch the "Beta" now! It is public! It has just been updated on my computer and no more "for beta" pop up any more!
hazaa!

Portal is downloadable!

Already downloaded Portal, and now it says my 7300 GT (Mac Pro) does not meet the video requirements. Sucks.

Happy gamer here :)

Yes, I am having the same issue. ALL my other games show up except TF2. BUT if you log into your steam commuinty page on steams site it shows up there. I am guessing just a bug of sorts. They didn't take the game away ;) (I hope at least hahaha)

Same here: TF2 not showing in library but, I'm guessing it will show after another update or two. Portal and Torchlight downloaded just fine :)
