Hi ! Could you please post a photo of your setup that i can see the distance between display, mac studio, keyboard and your chair ?
If my future setup look like yours, and according to your feedback about noise, i will order a mac studio.
I'm very scared by all those people saying the mac studio MAX is noisy/loud/annoying in another post.

Thank you very much :)
You have to remember that these are just a few people having an issue with their specific computer and we don't know all the specifics of their environment or what they have installed on the Mac.

I have the Studio with Max processors, 64GB RAM and 2TB storage. I have a bunch of Adobe apps, Microsoft and a few utilities installed. I hear no noise whatsoever. None. And I'm a bit sensitive to things like fan noise (I actually returned a MacPro years ago due to fan noise and got an iMac instead).

I suspect that I'm in the majority, not the minority.

Hi ! Do you finally get your mac studio delivered ? If so, do you have the same feedback as @basher concerning fan noise ? (woosh AND whisling)

Thank you :)
Yes I received it yesterday afternoon. Basically silent. During set up I used migration assistant to transfer around 400GB to the new Max from my old 2011 MBP. During the process I never heard the fans on the Max although the MBP sounded louder than a jet the whole time. Listening this morning with absolutely no ambient noise in the house I could faintly hear the fans if I put my ear up to it. I’m extremely happy with the lack of fan or any other noise from this machine.

Only issue I’m having at the moment is I’m unable to update the firmware on the new studio display. When I hit update it says unable to update, try back in an hour, if the issue persists contact an Apple service provider. It’s been 10 hours and still refuses to update.

What firmware version are you at? I read 15.4 is the most recent version.

I have not even looked to see what version I am at. At work now so I can't check. All I know is I have an outstanding update for the firmware in software updates. I do believe the update says it's for 15.4 under more info from what I remember.

My base Mac Studio with 1TB and 32GB is used primarily to run Ableton Live. With my old 2018 MacBook Pro I often had to flatten tracks and run high buffer samples to avoid stutters. Now with this new machine I leave it set at 128 samples and it barely breaks a sweat. Just amazing performance.
