Mac Studio making high-pitched whine—anyone else's do that?

I would be interested in such an app, too.

I heard back from an app developer that it's possible for an app to fully take over the fan control but not to have it in combination with the system fan controls. It's all or nothing.

I'm not sure it's worth the trouble though.

SAME PROBLEM! with my macSTudio ULTRA! such an expensive machine and im disappointed about that high pitch noise. we should tell that apple. or whrite here: https://communities.apple.com/de/thread/254354121

Same issue. I wear noise cancellation headphones a lot so it doesn’t bother me too much. I would rather have a louder low pitch fan sound than a silent one with a high pitch whine. I don’t mind my 7 fan setup on my Windows desktop.

I have a new Studio base model, and the fan is close to silent - no whining.
