They update on weekends. Based on past experience you'll see it sitting there until Sunday evening, then it will travel nonstop to you for delivery on Monday. I've seen shipments sit for multiple days and woosh through all the stops for a delivery the next morning.

I figured this was what would happen. It's exactly what happened when I ordered my iPad lol (although I have sold that now). If it makes an difference, I chose Next Business Day shipping and I ordered it on Thursday night, and it shipped at noon on Friday even though Apple said it wouldn't ship for 3-5 days and expected delivery by Apple was April 20th, so 2 days earlier sounds great. ;)

I'm so friggin' excited lol!

You were correct. I woke up today and looked at the tracking info and it was as follows:

Code:
Apr 17, 2011 8:43 AM At local FedEx facility EAST BOSTON, MA
Apr 16, 2011 9:58 PM At local FedEx facility EAST BOSTON, MA
Apr 16, 2011 12:30 AM Arrived at FedEx location NEWARK, NJ

I still don't quite understand how it arrived in NJ, and then appeared in MA without even departing from NJ, though lol... or how it arrived in MA two times lol. Must be some Apple magic going on. :D

Read the post I quoted.

I get it now lol. The post that you quoted was worded strangely and it confused me when I read it quickly. My bad haha.

My MBA just came in the mail about an hour ago and I've been playing with it ever since. This thing is amazing. It's perfect, nothing wrong with it at all and I could not be happier.

Still learning how to use a Mac since this is my first one, but I'm sure that I will become a master in no time.

I am SO glad I waited to get the 4GB RAM model.

So so happy right now. ;)
