X2. The 2.0 software update should have fixed it, so it sounds like you have a dud and had the misfortune of getting a second dud. Hopefully the third time will be the charm.
Seems like that, with a couple of differences. They didn't actually replace the fird dud, they just changed the motherboard that had gone dead (after a month, or even maybe less). Secondly, for some reason I can't get 2.0 software update for the efi, neither via software update, nor via the separate download, I can of course download and run it but when I run the pkg file it says "this software is not supported in your system"...wtf?
Isn't that strange?
Anyway, like I said, as soon as I am able to part with my air for some time, which will be in a few days or so, apple is getting a phone call and they better fix it this time around, i.e. replace it, which is the only way I see this problem going away for good... they should have replaced it first time around imo instead of changing the motherboard... I love my air to bits, it's the best laptop I 've ever had, imho I think it's the best laptop around at the moment on the globe, so I just can't have it not waking up from sleep and giving me a black screen and all that, problems that I've never had to deal with any of my powerbooks or imacs...
