Macbook Air M2 In-Store Reservation (Launch Day)

I reloaded and all my store has is the base model available in all colors. I am not surprised.

I kept checking and a 1TB showed and was able to get the Midnight 16 /TB model for pickup today. I had ordered the 2TB model but, I can get by with 1TB. I had to buy the 67w charger separately, as it wasn’t available with the Mac config for some reason.

My area has 8/256 and 16/1tb. both Midnight. Probably other configurations, so I will check. Lots of stock.

Also, it seems (can't be sure) these may be selling out quickly (the 16gb versions). It will become clear soon. It's interesting.

Regardless of what Apple sells for a base model, It still makes me nervous getting the lower end versions of these in order to save money. A trade off: Nervous because of money, vs nervous because of base model. So I'm just nervous no matter what?

Check other stores. Covid? I don't get it. If they say available, why waste your time? Somethings wrong about that.

Yeah I tried all the other stores and I’m getting the same thing. It’s definitely a system glitch because all the local stores are open for drop in shopping and pick up.

I switched from a BTO 10/24/1 midnight delivered in August to in store pickup today of a 10/16/1 midnight. It looks like I purchased the last model of this configuration from my store.

Just went into my local Apple store. Right away they said they only have two MBA’s left, no midnight. Got to play with one though - very nice and can’t wait until mine shows up in a few weeks.

Cancelled my delayed Best Buy order for an in-store pickup at Apple today. There didn't appear to be many configurations available at my local store. It's definitely going to be a madhouse in there today, if I had to guess.
