Well, the store appears to be back up!... I was partially right, no Mac Updates, but no iPad preorder either. just the aperture release.

Quite lame and frustrating. I'm very interested to see what they do with the MBA line, and I was hoping to see something new today!

I was also hoping to see some type of update today, even if marginal.

It is disappointing that the MBA is missing a few simple upgrades (more RAM, glass trackpad) that would bring it onto a level playing field with the MacBook and MacBook Pro.

This MBP update is critically important for the MBA even if the MBA is NOT updated with it.[/B]

Absolutely.

This is the main reason I'm watching closely for the MBP updates. The baseline video processor in the new MBP will be the ONLY video processor probably not only in the future Air, but also the Macbook, as well as the next gen Mini.

If this graphics option is anything less than at least a moderate improvement on the 9400, then not just one, but THREE lines of macs (Air, Macbook, Mini) will be a huge dissappointment to me.

macbook air

I am having to buy a new macbook air this week because of work - I just wished they had been updated. I know my old one did everything I needed, so a current one will do the same, but I know I'll want the new one whenever it comes out. Knowing me it will be 15 days after I purchase the current model.

:(

I love my MacBook Air.

I surely don't know what all you guys are crapping on about.

the new models will come when :apple: is good and ready to and when they have an update worthy of releasing.

as for the comment about improve it or remove it - sheesh -
have another cocktail, chill out and enjoy the beautiful seamless creation that Cupertino have blessed us with.

the secret of contentment is to enjoy what you have now and not always be lusting/critique-ing towards the future
