************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

i dont really know what to do anyone could help id be happy thankyou. I just want to play my favorite game :(

do you have the latest drivers installed including the latest DirectX? what about .NET? JIT sounds like a .NET error.

if you go to windows update they have a single update that installs all of the latest versions of every .NET version

looking for general opinions on playing games on a Mac. I'm thinking of a new MBP or iMac later this year after Apple refreshes the line with the i5 CPU's. i'm going to be playing all games via Windows and BootCamp. Don't care too much about the latest games but here is a list of the ones i plan to play.

Rome Total War
Medieval Total War 2
Empire Total War
GTA 4
Tropico 2
Civ4

Maybe a few other strategy games

has anyone run these? how is the speed and graphics quality when all settings are maxed out?

Steam had a big sale in December and I bought a bunch of games. i lost the CD's of some games and bought them via Steam at cheapo prices. Civ4 with all the add ons, Rome TW Gold, Medieval, C&C Red Alert, Tropico.

Steam is awesome. you buy the game and depending on the publisher's rules you can download it as often as you want on as many computers as you want.
