Ok, it didn't help either. Got the wifi drop again. Now it remains to try two things:
1) Change country in router's settings
2) Try another router

if nothing helps looks like I have to bring the laptop to Apple service.

Have you tried changing the router from 802.11ac to 802.11n? I had a couple of wifi dropouts on my MBA M2 over the last couple of days and trouble reconnecting to the router. I noticed that the download speed was slower than my iPad so I changed the router from 802.11ac to 802.11n and the download speed is back to normal. I'm hoping that this fixes the wifi dropouts, but I'll have to wait and see.

Also try to open System preferences-Network, top of the Network pane is' Location' Use the drop down to 'Edit Locations and make a new Network naming what ever you want! Then re-connect to your Wireless Network to see if it still drops! I don't trust the default Automatic over all my years on Mac OS & OS X! Plus if you go anywhere make a new Location custom name for that location then connect! Thus way you could always change back once you come home!

Thank you, just changed. Also I saw I had Region set to "US" in "Language & Region" settings:

So, I changed it to Vietnam, will see if it will help too.
For now I changes country ion router side back to Vietnam to check if the Region change will help, if not, I'll try to change coutry on router's side.

Also ordered wifi router from another brand to try if it will help.

I didn't, because of speed. For internet it will be ok (I have 200Mbps from ISP), but for devices in network it's not enough, because for example I make TimeMachine backups to NAS.

Does your router supports WPA3? If so, give it a try.
It doesn’t, but I ordered Mikrotic hap ac3 router and it supports it.

Btw, so far no disconnects after I changed region in MacOS settings. But I used laptop not for a long on the weekend. So, will report here results after few days

Did you change your country code to Singapore for the wifi?

Mine did suport WPA3 but I'm not sure if it has any reason to do with this?

here's my current wifi router config

P/S: I just notice that only me and Airs0urce got this exactly same problem and 1 of the common thing for both of us is we both are based in Vietnam.

I find another post from a Vietnamese dev claimed that she got exactly the same problem as me, she talked to Apple Engineer and they told her that this is [country code conflict and she need to set her router to VN], after she did that she no longer have trouble with her 5Ghz Wifi.

so I follow her example and did set my wifi country code to VN, I hasn't encounter the problem anymore. I will report if I encounter lost connection again.

There is no Singapore in router's settings:

First I changed to Germany but later back to VN, decided to test if that change of Region in MacOS settings will help.

So far I didn’t have drops, but actually I used laptop not much on the weekend. So, I want to see how it will go and if the issue persist, I’ll try to change country on router’s side.

And for sure when the new router arrives I’ll try it too.

Beware IMHO Wi-Fi 5 seems only good for 15 feet! Wi-Fi 6 range seems to be good as the old G networks! If you can help it get Wi-Fi 6 router and get into the 20220s! Wi-Fi six was made to fix the weak Wi-Fi 5 had!

I'm in 6 meters from router and no walls or anything else between laptop and the router, so it should be working ok. At least any other devices do.

So, today is Monday, I'm using macbook more actively and I got wifi drop again. It means changing region in MacOS settings didn't help. I received Mikrotik hAP AC3 today and today or tomorrow will connect it to ISP's router with ethernet and try to use wifi from the new router. Will report here about rresults.

Ok, yesterday evening I connected a new router (Mikrotik hAP ac3) to the network and use it's wifi on my laptop. So far no wifi drops. Will be watching it for couple more days to be sure it worked out.

Still no drops. For now I suppose the router from ISP was making problems for me.
After I connected another router using ethernet cable and used wifi from the new router, macbook pro 14 doesn't drop wifi connection anymore. I'll not send updates anymore until I start seeing drops with the new router. So if somebody reads this thread and see I didn't tell that the new router has same issue - it means everything works fine for me. Otherwise, after the first drop I'll send another comment in this thread to inform about it.

Just for info, the ISP router is ZTE ZXHN F670Y. ISP is Viettel. You can see photos below, just in case somebody face same issue:

Nice to hear you got it figure it out, I hope your wifi will be stable.

For my case, after change my country code to Vietnam both in MBP14 + Wifi router, I haven't encounter the same problem again.

I will also report in this thread if I encounter the problem again but hope that will not be the case.

Huh, I think I'm out of ideas now. I think I'll give the laptop to service and try to get a replacement

Now working with Apple support. First they asked me to use laptop in Safe Mode and check if the issue still happens. I tried and had drops again. Then they suggested to create a new user and work from that new user, wifi dropped again. Now talk again to check what the next step

So, next recommendation from Apple Support I tried is to change DHCP lease time to 8 hours in router's settings. I had 1h in old router and 10min in a new router. And also enabled WMM mode. Will see if it helps.

Oh, for DHCP I reserve 1 local IP for my macbook by assign that IP to my MAC Address so it will never change.

Looking at the pics in post #41 above, I'd reduce the "strain" on some of those ethernet cables...
